Indeed, their close harmony vocal style was to set a benchmark that has been copied over the years by acts as diverse as The Supremes and Bananarama, whilst Bette Midler borrowed much of the arrangement from the 1941 original of 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy' for her 1973 revival.
